Tour of the West Harwich Baptist Church and Cemetery.
Special focus on the families connected with deep Cape roots: Mayflower and Winthrop Fleet families who settled here in the 1630s, and a special focus on the role of the Baptist Church in Harwich and on Cape Cod during the American Revolution, the Second Great Awakening, as well as the rise of the Abolitionist movement. Talk will be illustrated with digital photos and artifacts.
The tour will take place on July 25th @ 10 am
Park along Depot Street west and in the empty lot across
Individual earpieces provided upon request at tour site for the most enjoyable experience.
Cost of the tour is $10 adult/$5 under 18 and over 65 years old.
